Well, it was a successful day of racing for my girl and me!  She came in first for the one mile fun run and I came in second for my age group in the 5K.  The weather was gorgeous and we were surrounded by great friends.  The theme of the day has been racing, as we then raced home to get ready for my in law's 40th anniversary party.  I have been trying to follow the debate team's progress throughout the day.  It's almost over...I'm going to be ready for school to start just to have a break!  Thanks for all the support.

  1. Congratulations on your winnings! That is AWESOME. Sophie sure has your smile. Isn't it funny how we can look at our daughters and see ourselves so many years ago. I feel the same way about school starting (Monday with kids already) it will be a nice break!

  2. Kudos for your accomplishment and your daughters!!! Sounds like you have worked hard for your success throughout this summer! This time of year seems to be the busiest was all the hustle and bustle of the new year (especially being a teacher). Good luck with the upcoming school year.

  3. Congrats on your wins!! That's awesome! I agree with you about going back to school. It'll be nice to have a week "off" before starting our next grad class. Did you ever get that worked out with your professor?

  5. Audrey, congrats to you and your daughter on the race!! She is a cutie and must have felt so proud. How special that you guys can run together. Look at you, I'm very jealous! Perhaps you will inspire me to get fit and shake these graduate pounds off this year. I'm going to add your blog to my list and I'm looking forward to staying in touch!
